Mandurah Universities Centre (MUC) is a place-based community driven approach to address tertiary education access and equity issues for students.
Centrally located in Mandurah’s vibrant waterfront district, our Centre is easily accessible by public transport and features modern amenities designed to enhance the learning experience.
The Centre is designed to be provider-agnostic, facilitating support to students studying at any Australian publicly funded tertiary institution. The Centre complements rather than duplicates existing university services.
Current students can register for membership if they are enrolled in courses ranging from TAFE Cert III to university postgraduate studies. Prospective students are also encouraged to connect with MUC to learn more about higher education pathways and study options available locally and online.
The Centre provides equitable access to resources such as:
- Dual monitors
- Sit/Stand desks
- High speed internet
- Printing
- Coffee, tea & hot chocolate
- Conference room
- Soundproof booths
- Information on entry pathways to university, course guides and services offered by each tertiary provider
- TAFE course information
- Staff on hand providing academic skills, administrative, career & wellbeing support
